From above triangle wi can see resistors across A and B are in series and the equivalent resistor network is (2).

$So, R_{AB} = \frac{2 \times 4}{2 + 4} = \frac{8}{6} = \frac{4}{3}$

$∴ R_{AB} = \frac{4}{3} Ω$
