L. C.C. = $\frac{pitch}{no . of circular division} = \frac{0 .25}{25} = 0 .01 cm$
M.S.R. = 15 × 0.25 = 3.75 cm
C.S.R. = 12 × 0.01 = 0.12 cm
R = M.S.R. + C.S.R. = 3.87 cm = 38.7 mm
