The double circulation separates the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood. The right-hand side chambers of the heart deal with the deoxygenated blood and they receive blood from the body parts. They pump it to the lungs, where the blood gets oxygenated and is received back by the left-hand side chambers, which are then forwarded to the rest of the body organs.

In the given figure, 1 represents the right-side chambers of the heart, 2 represents the left-side chambers of the heart. So, the correct sequence will be 1 to 3 (pulmonary circulation) to 2 to 4 (systemic circulation) to 1.
