(ii) Acid rain is caused by emissions of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acids. It corrodes buildings and metal structures. It also makes soil acidic which becomes unsuitable for cultivation. 

(iii) (1) NADP : Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate. It acts as a cofactor in anabolic reaction.

(2) ACT : Adrenocorticotropin. It is a hormone which stimulates the production and release of cortisol from the cortex of the adrenal gland.
