Given resistances, R₁ = 5Ω

R₂ = 10Ω

R₃ = 30Ω

EMF = 6 V

\frac{1}{R_{p}} = \frac{1}{R_{1}} + \frac{1}{R_{2}} + \frac{1}{R_{3}}

= \frac{1}{5} + \frac{1}{10} + \frac{1}{30} = \frac{6 + 3 + 1}{30} = \frac{10}{30} = \frac{1}{3}

∴ R_p = 3Q.
