The V - I graph of the nichrome wire shows a straight line. It means that the resistance of the wire remains constant when the current supply is changed. It follows the ohm's law and therefore, it is considered as an ohmic conductor. It follows ohm's law 

→ V = IR
R=VI which shows that the slope of graph VI is a constant.
