Let velocity of light in air be v.
Velocity of light in medium, vm=vn is the refractive index of the medium.

  0.75v=vnn=43

Given : n1 = 1

Using Snell's law of refraction: 1×sini=n×sinr ...................... (1)
But it is given that angle of incidence is very small, i.e sinii
Hence angle of refraction is also very small   sinrr

∴  From equation  (1), i=43r

Now angle of deviation,  δ=i-r=i-34iδ=i4
